Arab Media Forum for Environment and Development

Randa Fouad is President of the Arab Media Forum for Environment and Development. A journalist and writer, she possesses over 20 years regional and local experience in the field of sustainable development, public awareness and communication. Fouad is involved in the information planning aspect of the United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) ‘Urban Management Programme’ in the region.

She has also held the post of Media Advisor to the Minister of State for Environmental Affairs, where she established a unit for content development and contributed to the design of the National Program of Environmental Information launched by the ministry in support of the national plan for environmental communication. Additionally, she has contributed to establishing the Arab Media Forum for Environment and Development as a platform for regional media to connect with non-governmental organizations.
