Aydar Aganin is Director, Rusya al-Yaum News Channel. He served the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia for close to two decades (1990 – 2007), including assignments at several Russian embassies abroad. He has to his credit several publications, including “Water Resources of the Jordan River Basin and Arab-Israeli Conflict,” “Tribes and Clans of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,” “Modern Jordan,” and “Biblical Jordan.” He holds a PhD from Diplomatic Academy of Russia, Moscow.
